Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse….

Join the Chorus Niagara Children’s Choir as we present a concert that celebrates all that is magical in the holiday season. You will be treated to a broad selection of seasonal songs from jazzy holiday favorites to traditional carols. Special guest Carousel Players Artistic Director and actor Monica Dufault recites the classic holiday poem, as our youngest to oldest singers bring the text to life through song!

The premiere of Canadian composer Tawnie Olson’s That’s One Small Step continues our choral encounter with the beauty and fragility of our planet. The District School Board of Niagara, Brock University and the Chorus Niagara Children’s Choir are thrilled to present the 2020 Niagara Children’s Honour Choir. Select children from the DSBN will perform under the direction of renown Canadian composer and conductor, Dr. Mark Sirett. Guest performers include Brock University Choir and Chorus Niagara Children’s Choir. All choirs will join together to sing in a massed choir finale.

CNCC perform with special guests from the Niagara Children’s Centre in a grand finale.

CHAMBER CHOIR (Cameo Concert)

May 14-17, 2020

Montréal, Quebec

Every two years, Podium, Canada’s choral conference and festival, is co-presented by Choral Canada and one of Canada’s provincial choral organizations. Podium will take place in Montreal for the first time in its history from May 14 to 17, 2020 in collaboration with the Alliance chorale du Québec. This major event with its sharing of ideas, repertoire and best practices will have a positive impact on the choral milieu in Montreal and throughout Quebec. CNCC Chamber Choir performs a cameo concert as part of the festival.
